Morgan Stanley(NYSE: MS), one of the largest investment banks, made waves when it launched the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust in April. It was the firm’s first crypto ETF and offered a 0.14% expense ratio, lower than the competition. Most Bitcoin ETFs charge 0.20% to 0.25% per year.
XRP (CRYPTO: XRP), the native token of the XRP Ledger, has declined more than 60% over the past 12 months. It lost its luster as fears of interest rate hikes, regulatory headwinds, and competition from stablecoins drove investors toward more conservative investments.
JPMorgan Predicted Up to $8 Billion of Year-One XRP ETF Inflows. Here’s Why Inflows Are Stuck at $1.5 Billion
JPMorgan told investors in January 2025 that spot XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) ETFs could pull in as much as $8 billion in their first year of trading. Then, in April 2025, Standard Chartered predicted the same $8 billion of first-year inflows for XRP funds.
Bitcoin’s price failed at $65,000 earlier this week, and the subsequent correction pushed it south to a 17-day low of $62,400 before it found some support and rebounded to $63,000.
