Election night on November 3 gave crypto traders a fast round trip. As Democrats won both houses of Congress, bitcoin fell below $76,000. Then it climbed back to about $80,400 within hours. Traders bought $230 million of call options, bets that pay if the price rises, CoinDesk reports.
Yet the Fear and Greed Index read only 37 on November 4. That gap leaves the crypto bull run with an open question: is this rebound a start, or one more bounce?
In past runs, the largest percentages went to tokens bought one step earlier, and large buyers have committed over $11.2 million to Pepeto, an AI backed meme token.
Crypto Bull Run: Bitcoin Rebounds 3% as Election Fear Fades
Bitcoin sat near $80,400 on November 5, about 3% above its election night low. Analysts quoted by CoinDesk and crypto.news place resistance between $79,500 and $82,000, about 1% to 5% higher. Analyst Markus Thielen named $82,000 as the next target and called bitcoin oversold. If bitcoin holds $80,000, the $82,000 test comes into view. However, a slide under $76,000 would reopen the low.
Still, real money backed the rebound. Election day options trades reached about $660 million, more than double the day before. There was roughly $420 million of calls bought against $105 million sold.
However, bitcoin is a $1.56 trillion coin, so reaching $82,000 needs about $72 billion more in buying to gain close to 5%. That 5% pays a $1,000 holder and a $1 million holder alike, and holders earn nothing while they wait for it.
This leaves a crypto bull run that pays bitcoin holders only when prices rise, and only by the percent. Pepeto pays during that wait. It does so through a staking rate offered in its presale.
Big Investors Put $11.2 million Into Pepeto During the Fear
More than $11.2 million has gone into Pepeto while crypto prices fell and fear set the mood. Pepeto is a meme coin. Its team is headed by Pepe’s own cofounder, with tools powered by advanced AI behind it.
Waiting for a run costs time, and coins left on an exchange earn nothing. Pepeto’s staking pays 161% APY at the current rate, which comes from the reward allocation and the amount staked. The rate is updated daily. Locked plans keep the rate shown at signup for their full term. Rewards become claimable at the listing, so a holder is paid for the months a bitcoin holder spends waiting.
Pepeto’s token will also run three tools in development. These are an exchange with no trading fee, a bridge that charges nothing and an AI scanner. So far, only private testers from the community and big investors can use them.
Those buyers paid a stage price of $0.0000001905. A stage closes on its timer or once its target is met. Every new stage raises the price for whoever comes next.
Buying into a fearful market is what the first buyers of most large coins did. Pepeto’s biggest buyers did it with millions during the drop, a sign that usually appears before the crowd arrives.
Conclusion
Bitcoin’s next resistance is a solid target for holders. Buyers chasing larger percentages turn to tokens at their first stage. The money reaching Pepeto during the fear shows where they settled.
Bitcoin’s own first stage shows how far one can go. On October 5, 2009, the first published rate valued $1 at 1,309.03 bitcoin, when bitcoin had no exchange, no app and nothing built on it. That $1 of coins was worth about $165 million at the October 2025 record. In this crypto bull run, Pepeto begins with an exchange, a bridge and a scanner in development. That is far more than bitcoin had in 2009.
With staking paid during the wait and a stage price rising each round, that capital sits in Pepeto before the approaching Binance listing opens it to everyone.
