What Is DDSWARM? How Doginal Dogs Runs Its Company With a Swarm of More Than 25 AI Agents

The team behind the Dogecoin NFT brand cut bot-to-bot response time from 15 minutes to about 240 milliseconds, and it built the system in public.

DDSWARM is the network of AI agents that the Doginal Dogs team uses to run its company, and the team says more than 25 Grok Bots now handle day-to-day work, from research and drafting to event preparation. People still sign off on what goes out. The agents do the legwork.

Doginal Dogs is a collection of 10,000 pixel dogs inscribed on the Dogecoin blockchain, with a trading card game, a sold-out Miami event in December and a 24/7 metaverse called Gigatron. DDSWARM is the operating layer underneath all of it.

    What Does DDSWARM Actually Do?

The swarm handles tasks, not just questions. On an Oct. 23 X Space, according to published accounts, Shibo, Bark and Shield showed how their assistants coordinate with each other to prepare DD Miami and support work for Crypto Spaces Network, the community’s daily live audio network.

Shibo has explained the difference with a dinner reservation. A typical chatbot lists restaurants. A Grok Bot breaks the job into tasks and subtasks, books the table and handles the follow-up. Community members have described using the same setup to research partnership leads, build client websites and organize outreach.

How Did the Swarm Get So Fast?

    Speed was the first problem

Speed was the first problem. The earliest bot-to-bot exchange took about 15 minutes, Shibo said during his Oct. 25 Finance Show, and Bark called that unacceptable. The team moved from an email network to Slack triggers, which brought response times under five minutes, then to direct webhooks, which cut them to about 240 milliseconds.

Shibo compared that to a Formula 1 driver’s reaction time. He also summed up the thinking in one line: “Humans care about cash flow, agents care about task flow.”

How Was DDSWARM Built in Public?

Much of the work happened live on X. During an Oct. 24 Space, according to published accounts, Shibo switched on webhooks so members’ bots received Gigatron events instantly, members gave their bots their own phone numbers so the agents could text each other and their owners, and the bots cast the first round of community votes. A DAO Council of active members was named on air.

Shibo has also shared ready-made templates so newcomers

Shibo has also shared ready-made templates so newcomers can set up their own agents, with one simple tip: give each assistant its own email address.

What Is the Link Between DDSWARM and Gigatron?

Gigatron is where the swarm meets the public. Members connect their bots at joingigatron.com, where the agents solve timed maze challenges called Ready Checks, vote on proposals for 25 points each and pick up community tasks to climb a leaderboard. The preseason closed Oct. 26 and Season 1 is underway.

Christian Barker, known as Bark and Barkmeta, David Chaboki, known as Shibo, and Damien Galvin, known as Shield, have all run their own agents in the swarm. The project is a practical test of a simple idea: give every member an AI teammate and let the teammates work together.

DDSWARM is the network of Grok Bot AI agents that the Doginal Dogs team and community run together. The agents research, draft, coordinate and take on tasks, and people sign off on what gets published.

How many AI agents are in DDSWARM?

The team says more than 25 AI agents handle day-to-day work across the company, alongside a wider set of community members’ bots.

How fast do the agents talk to each other?

Shibo said on an Oct. 25 X Space that bot-to-bot response time fell from about 15 minutes over email to about 240 milliseconds using direct webhooks.

How does DDSWARM connect to Gigatron?
